Athena is a 1 year old dilute calico. Athena was rescued from the county high kill shelter after giving birth to kittens in the shelter environment. Athena was a good mom, but that scared the shelter staff who were going to euthanize her because she was protective of her babies. Athena is very affectionate, very talkative and prefers women over men (although she is learning to trust men). She does ok with some cats, does ok with a medium size dog, and would love to find a person who will give her the love she so deserves. Athena will show you she was meant to live, and find a special family to give love to. Please note that all HOPE cats are tested for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FelV), are spayed or neutered, have received age-appropriate vaccinations; have been treated external and internal parasites and are microchipped.
